ELIZABETH DILLON, or COLE, is a well known female pickpocket She has been arrested in almost every city in the Union, and has done considerable service in State prisons and penitentiaries throughout the country. She is well known in Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Providence, R. I., and several other Eastern cities. She is very quick in her actions and difficult to follow. She was arrested in Providence, R. I., on February 1, 1879, charged with picking pockets, and sentenced to two years in State prison on March 11, 1879. Since then she has served two terms in the penitentiary on Blackwell's Island, New York. Her picture is a very good one, taken in March, 1879.
